Doctor City (referred to as "Platform", "we", "us", or "our") facilitates appointment logistics between patients and participating independent healthcare practices. By accessing or using our website or associated mobile applications (package com.doctorappointment.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The Platform provides features to:
- Search participating hospitals and clinics by city.
- Discover registered medical professionals based on specialty.
- View doctor availability schedules and shift timings.
- Request appointment bookings for specific dates and time slots.
- Obtain digital appointment booking cards with token references and validity windows.
- Monitor live queue progress to reduce physical waiting time at the clinic.
User Roles & Responsibilities
👤 Patient Responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking name and active mobile number for verification.
- Arrive at the medical facility prior to the scheduled slot or token turn.
- Understand that appointment slots are subject to clinic emergency adjustments.
- Do not submit false, duplicate, or speculative booking requests.
👨⚕️ Doctor & Hospital Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate consultation hours, availability, and leave status.
- Organize scheduled patient visits based on appointment tokens.
- Conduct all medical evaluations and treatment independently of the platform.
- Comply with applicable local medical council rules and healthcare standards.
Appointment Bookings & Card Validity
When you book an appointment, the Platform generates an Appointment Card (or booking confirmation request slip).
Card Validity Principles:
- Logistical Confirmation Only: The appointment card is an administrative scheduling confirmation. It is not an electronic health record, prescription, or clinical admission document.
- Time-Bounded Validity: Each appointment card is valid strictly for the specific date and allocated time slot stated on the card.
- No Priority over Medical Emergencies: Participating healthcare providers reserve the right to prioritize urgent medical emergencies over scheduled non-emergency appointment slots.
No Clinical Data or Medical Records Storage
Doctor City is designed as a zero-EHR/EMR logistics system. The Platform:
- DOES NOT collect, store, or maintain electronic health records (EHR).
- DOES NOT store diagnostic lab reports, radiological imaging, or clinical charts.
- DOES NOT manage electronic prescription issuance or pharmacy ordering.
- DOES NOT track symptoms, disease progression, or patient vitals.
Any diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, prescriptions, or clinical notes created during your hospital visit are maintained solely by your healthcare provider under their independent professional record-keeping obligations.
Schedule Delays & Cancellations
While Doctor City's queue-tracking system strives to provide real-time updates regarding token movement, doctor schedules may experience unforeseen delays due to complex clinical cases or hospital emergencies.
Neither Doctor City nor the participating doctors shall be liable for reasonable delays occurring during in-person clinical operations. Patients can cancel or reschedule appointments prior to the slot using their registered contact number.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Doctor City acts as an independent intermediary facilitating scheduling logistics. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for the quality, competence, advice, diagnosis, or treatment rendered by any doctor or hospital.
- In no event shall Doctor City be liable for medical malpractice, negligence, clinical misdiagnosis, treatment outcomes, or physical injuries arising from healthcare consultations received at participating clinics.
- Doctor City is not an emergency response service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call your local emergency emergency number or proceed immediately to the nearest hospital emergency room.
Account & Data Rights
You retain full rights to update or delete your profile and appointment history from our active platform at any time. To request account deletion, please visit our dedicated Account Deletion Page.
